I personally think that this show isn't that bad. They're pretty much all the same except they've been modernized. Yeah, the jokes can get pretty stale and the songs are really...For lack of better terms, gross. At least they are trying something new with the Looney Tunes. I personally think that if it was the same as it was back in the days, it'd get pretty boring. I like that it has a story to it, and it's not all slapstick humor. But that's just me personally.
I was expecting this show to be more like Tom and Jerry Tales. I mean Tom and Jerry Tales was just brand new Tom and Jerry shorts just like the Tom and Jerry cartoons of the 1940s-1960s. If Warner Brothers can pull that off for Tom and Jerry. why can't they do it for Looney Tunes?!
It's a good thing this show is near the so-called "end" of its run (if not already ended)! It's been a dumb, boring, stupid, and disgraceful show, through and through. It should have kept all the major characters faithful to their classic designs and personalities, and its art style, animation, writing, and musical scoring should have respected those of the "Golden Age" Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. But instead, "The Looney Tunes Show" gave us twisted and poorly (if not horribly) drawn reinterpretations of our animated friends of yesteryear, horrid voices that show little respect for the classic character voice performances that the inimitable Mel Blanc and his colleagues gave us, and horrendous songs that were poorly scored and badly written! This show is a COMPLETE disgrace to the classic Warner Bros. cartoon output from the 1940s and 1950s. It has disrespected its heritage and is horrible, disappointing, and outright miserable.
You took the words right out of my mouth! This is undeniable proof that rules RULE, which is what I'd like to describe your compassionate sentiments in a nutshell. Now that you mention it, I wonder if they noticed the scary, yet highly compassionate feedback toward the show to the point where they finally decided to end it?
This stupid show killed the orginal classic comedy that the Looney Tunes were. And the worst part, besides the horrendous songs, is the changes they made to Lola!! I liked her better in 'Space Jam'! WHEY'D THEY HAVE T RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD CHARACTER?!?!?!
Gosh!! That new show is just terrible!! I even saw some advertisements while I was at Wal-Mart......and as I can tell, the animation is just flat and terrible and voices are horrid. And looking at some pictures, Taz's appearance in that cartoon is so FUGLY that they made his eyes yellow that he looks like he's someone else; while the REAL Taz has white eyes. The old Looney Tunes is better than that crappy show they just made. They way the characters look in that new show is a DISGRACE to all the older stuff, especially the '96 movie Space Jam that introduced Lola.
i want to add that the new gossamer is a school boy who sings worse than the young justin bieber. the new bugs bunny is responsible, dull and mature.but bugs bunny is supposed to be an immature crazy rabbit who trolls everyone.there are so many episodes where bugs loses at the end.this is not right.bugs used to win all the time in the past.elmer fudd doesn't hunt rabbits anymore since now he' a weatherman.the new daffy is such an idiotic jerk who doesn't care about his friends.gosh,we gotta hate this daffy.there are a lot of wrong things with this show.i can't put them all.
Also Daffy makes Peter Griffin look like Einstein. Taz is a dog, even though he's a Tasmanian Devil. Witch Hazel has changed her name to Witch Lezah and she sounds African-American. (Not trying to sound racist or anything) Foghorn is a film director. But then again, it's more faithful to the original Looney Tunes than Teen Titans Go! is to Teen Titans.
oh my gosh! i hate this show! especially the new lola.why would someone like her new version?! now she became annoying and stupid as hell.the most annoying thing is that the new lola needs to pee ALL THE TIME! this was shown in three episodes.in one of them she said she peed four times.what the fuck is this?!
