Why would i need one

What annoys me to no end is that people are going hysterical over fictional characters that are being bad artificial babysitters for children? It's not a fictional character's job to raise a child or teen. That is the parent's, legal guardian's and authority figure's jobs. It's not a fictional character's fault that these kids are messed up. It's their negligent dead beat parent's or legal guardian's fault for not paying enough attention to the kid they were dying to want, and so hell bent to bring into this world. But instead, they let works of fiction be the artificial parents for their kids. I wonder how much do these so called "role model" characters get paid to watch over the offspring of these dead beats?
